Wrexham have updated their official squad page to list Paul Mullin as ‘Welshpool’ after his cameo role in Ryan Reynolds’ latest Deadpool film.

Ollie Palmer has confirmed that he features as an extra in Deadpool & Wolverine, with the Red Dragons forward “blagging” his way into that blockbuster production. He is not the only Wrexham frontman to be given a credit.

Mullin was listed on the Deadpool cast list by IMDB, with Reynolds later sharing images of the 105-goal striker on set. The 29-year-old does not get his face on screen, but he plays one of several alter-egos that feature in a big-money movie – alongside Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively.
