Daily Echo reporter12-Oct-2002STARS from the world of sport joined businessmen at the Concorde Club in Eastleigh last night as part of a benefit dinner for Hampshire cricketer, Shaun Udal.Saints legend Matt Le Tissier, along with former Dell favourite Mark Dennis, attended the function with a number of Hampshire cricketers, including former captain and England international Robin Smith.Udal, who was recently named Hampshire Players’ Player of the Year, is coming to the end of a busy season of benefit functions.Next week he has a clay pigeon shoot lined up at Finchdean.A golf day is planned at Sunningdale Golf Club later this month, as well as a further golf trip to Spain and a dinner at the House of Commons.The year culminates in a lunch at the Café Royal in London in December.
