Bayern Munich are considering turning to Zinedine Zidane to replace Thomas Tuchel as head coach at the German club this summer, a report claims.

The Bundesliga side are in the hunt for a new coach after confirming earlier this season that Tuchel will step down in the summer after just over a year in charge. Bayern were initially linked with Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso but the Spaniard has confirmed he will stay at the BayArena club for at least another season, forcing the Munich club to look elsewhere.

Bayern have since turned to France and Real Madrid hero Zidane as a candidate to take Tuchel's place ahead of next season, reports. The Bavarian side have already made contact with the coach's agent to find out if he is open to taking the job.
